April is best known for April showers and remembering to take your waterproof jacket with you, but it is actually one of the driest months according to Met Office statistics. Average rainfall in April is only 37mm combined with 64mm in November and even 59mm in August.
So far this April we’ve had above average sunshine but even snow too! With the British weather being anything but predictable, decent
waterproof jackets and
wellies are essential kit for any youngster to have fun outside (and stay dry).
