If your toddler thinks they may be missing out on ski lessons, then these mini skis for kids are a great way to introduce little ones to the sport. They fasten on to your child’s normal snow footwear, so no need for awkward ski boots, and are light and easy to move. There’s no need to wait until you get to your ski resort to try them either, you can make the most of any snowy weather at home and have a go in the garden or park.

I really like these Sprayway Kids Rain Pants because they are a bit more than the average waterproof overtrouser. For a start the trousers are lined, making them a bit warmer as there are two layers of fabric. Kids also don’t mind wearing them as an ordinary pair outdoor trousers when they are lined as they are nicer next to their skin. The outer fabric is reasonably thick making them quite robust – it is the same fabric as the jackets -so as well as being super coordinated it is also breathable, so in the event they are going to be worn for a long time at least they will be comfortable too (no clammy fabric sticking to little legs – ugh). The trousers have side pockets and a back pocket – just like standard trousers plus zips at the ankles so they can go on over boots and shoes relatively easily.
If it’s really cold or snowy they can be worn with some fleecy trousers or jogging bottoms underneath, the black ones are ideal for football training instead of a pair of tracksuit trousers if its wet too. So all in all a pretty versatile item of kids clothing
