10 things to do before age 10

10 Things to do before you’re 10 Years Old. Stuck for ideas what to do with the children every weekend? Fed up with seeing them spend too much time on the computer? Getting bored with the Wii? If any of these sounds like your family then why not return to some nostalgic outside activities.
Nothing beats pure old-fashioned fun and some of these activities won’t even cost you a penny.
- Make a den or tree house
- Plant seeds and watch them grow
- Press flowers in a book and make a collage
- Make daisy chain necklaces and bracelets
- Toast marshmallows over an open fire
- Make a wish on the north star in the night sky
- Search for seashells on a wintry beach
- Make mud pies
- Play hopscotch
- Make rose petal perfume.
Once we started on the list we came up with a few more than 10 ideas,
- Sleep outdoors (in a tent)
- Roast chestnuts over an open fire
- Go hunting for frogspawn
- Go star gazing
- Search for crabs on a rocky beach
- Make a weather station
- Learn how to use a compass
- Play conkers.
