top 10 spring activities for kids (that don’t break the bank)

Having fun outdoors this Spring needn’t break the bank. We’ve put together our top 10 list, most of which is just good old fashioned fun!
1. Fly kites
2. Pond dipping – look for frogspawn and tadpoles (take care near water)
3. Star Gazing – see if you can spot The Plough and Orion
4. Look for animal tracks – you can make casts using plaster of paris
5. Start a rock collection
6. Plant some seeds – try sunflowers – or mustard and cress for a quicker result
7. Make an insect house
8. Go bird watching – see how brainy birds are
9. Keep a weather chart
10.Go geocaching and find the hidden treasure
